Control Gree air conditioners locally, with no account

Your Gree air conditioner and the brands that use the same Wi-Fi module, in the same app as the rest of your home. The connection runs directly over your home network; no account needed, and once paired it works without the internet.

  • Gree Wi-Fi air conditioners
  • Brands that use the Gree+ / EWPE Smart app: Cooper&Hunter, Tosot, Daitsu and others

How does it connect?

The unit must first be on Wi-Fi via the Gree+ app. Then Add device → Gree → "Search network"; the unit is found and paired once (the key comes from the unit itself). After that it runs over your local network, without the internet.

What can you do?

  • Power, mode and target temperature (8–30 °C)
  • Room temperature
  • Fan speed, vertical and horizontal swing
  • Quiet, turbo, sleep and display light
  • Health (ionizer), X-fan and energy saving

FAQ

Do I need an account or a Home Hub?
No. The unit is controlled from your phone over your home network. Automations run while the app is open; to have them run while your phone is off, you can add an optional Home Hub.

My unit is not found. What should I do?
The unit must first be connected to Wi-Fi with the Gree+ app and be on the same network as your phone. Then try "Search network" again.

Is this support ready?
It is new and marked Beta in the app and has not yet been tried on a real unit. If something is off, send the brand and model via Account → Feedback.
