FAQ

Do I need Home Hub?
No. Every supported connection, Matter included, works from your phone. The optional Hub adds Zigbee, remote access to local devices and routines that run while your phone is off.

Do I still need the manufacturer's app?
Usually only to put the device on Wi-Fi the first time. After that, everyday use works from BluConnect.

Where are my passwords stored?
Wherever possible you sign in on the manufacturer's own page and we never see the password. Refresh tokens are kept in an encrypted vault; your phone only receives short-lived access tokens.

Is it free?
The Free plan covers everyday control of 2 devices in one home. Plus unlocks unlimited devices and homes, automations, location triggers, notifications, Home Hub, infrared, bill calculation, the wall panel and more; monthly and yearly plans come with a 7-day trial.
