Control FRITZ!DECT thermostats and plugs via your FRITZ!Box
Last updated: 7 October 2026
The FRITZ!DECT devices connected to your FRITZ!Box, in the same app as every other brand. The app talks directly to the FRITZ!Box over your local network; no cloud account needed.
Which devices?
- FRITZ!DECT radiator thermostats
- FRITZ!DECT plugs (with power and energy metering)
- Blind and shutter control
- FRITZ!DECT lamps
- Sensors and buttons
How does it connect?
Add device → FRITZ!Box, with a FRITZ!Box username and password. We recommend creating a separate FRITZ!Box user that has only the Smart Home permission. With a Home Hub, the FRITZ!Box is handed to it as well.
What can you do?
- Target and room temperature on thermostats
- Plug on/off, live power and consumption
- Blind position, lamp on/off and brightness
- Sensor-triggered routines
- Plug consumption in the energy screen
FAQ
Is it safe to enter my FRITZ!Box password?
If you create a separate user with only the Smart Home permission, those credentials cannot reach your network settings. The connection stays on your local network.
Is this support ready?
It is new and marked Beta in the app and has not yet been tried on real hardware. If something is off, tell us via Account → Feedback.
