Control Daikin air conditioners from your phone: Wi-Fi adapter and Onecta

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Manage your Daikin air conditioners in the same app as your lights and boiler. Units with a Wi-Fi adapter work over your Wi-Fi with no account; newer units and Altherma heat pumps come in through your Daikin Onecta account. When the same unit is found both ways it becomes one device, and commands go local first.

Which devices?

  • Air conditioners with a Wi-Fi adapter: BRP069, BRP072C, BRP084
  • Ducted systems: Airbase, SKYFi
  • Newer Daikin units in the Onecta app
  • Daikin Altherma heat pumps (Onecta)

How does it connect?

Add device → Daikin. A unit with a Wi-Fi adapter is found on your Wi-Fi automatically; the BRP072C adapter asks once for the 13-digit key on its label. For Onecta you sign in on Daikin's own page; your password never reaches us. If the same unit is added both ways, it shows up as one device.

What can you do?

  • Power, mode and target temperature
  • Fan speed and swing
  • Room and outdoor temperature, humidity
  • Powerful, Econo and Streamer where supported
  • Daily energy use in the energy screen

FAQ

How mature is Daikin support?
It is new and marked Beta in the app: it has not yet been tried on a real unit with every adapter model. If something is off, send the adapter model via Account → Feedback and we will ship fixes in updates.

My air conditioner has no Wi-Fi. What can I do?
Add it as an infrared remote, using a Broadlink or an Android phone with an IR blaster.
