Control Bosch Smart Home and its alarm system in one app
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Your Bosch Smart Home devices and alarm system, in the same app as every other brand. The Controller is reached over your local network via Home Hub; no cloud account needed.
Which devices?

How does it connect?
Requires a Home Hub. Add device → Bosch Smart Home; the Controller is found on your network. Press the button on the front of the Controller and enter the system password. The password is used only for this pairing and never stored; after that a client certificate on the Hub is used.
What can you do?
- Heating: target temperature, room temperature and humidity
- Plug, light and shutter control
- Sensor states and sensor-triggered routines
- Arm and disarm the alarm
- Routine that arms the alarm when the last person leaves
FAQ
Why is a Home Hub needed?
The Controller's local interface requires a client certificate and reports state over a long-lived connection; the Hub, which stays at home, handles that. Your phone connects through the Hub.
Is this support ready?
It is new and marked Beta in the app and has not yet been tried with a real Controller. If something is off, tell us via Account → Feedback.
